We are delighted to hold the first knee rehab workshop in Durgapur, thanks to the graceful presence of Dr. Kalpana Aggarwal - Chief of Knee Rehab unit from Medanta Medicity, Dr. Gaurav Gupta from Fortis, Dr. Prodip Chakraborty from Koklata. The event was the mastermind of Dr. Amrit Biswas HOD of Paramedical College of Durgapur and Dr. Dipankar Sen, Orthopaedics surgeon. The meeting was first of its kind to be held in the city was attended by about 50 physiotherapy colleagues from West Bengal and Jharkhand. There were didactic lectures , but the high point was the hands on workshop where specific techniques of knee rehab were demonstrated on volunteers using real life instruments. Day wise rehab protocol for Knee arthroplasty mobilisation was given to all candidates. Overall a day full of teaching and techniques of successful knee rehabilitation.
