PRAYAS is the brainchild of Dr. Dipankar Sen- Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Dr. Dipanwita Sen – Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, both are permanent residents of the city of Durgapur. Having done their primary and post graduate medical education from premier medical institutions of India like PGIMER and JIPMER they did not stop and jump into the easy life of fame and work. Rather they opted to continue their academic career in United Kingdom in pursuit of higher surgical training and clinical excellence. Both of them reached the highest level of academics in the UK. Dr. Dipankar Sen did his Masters in Orthopaedics from University of Liverpool (MCH_ Orthopaedics) and completed the Fellowship in trauma and Orthopaedics from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010 (FRCS : Trauma and Orth). Dr. Dipanwita Sen completed her specialist training and was awarded FRCOG degree from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, London. Both of these qualifications are recognised worldwide for consultant level job prospects.
